Naul gig and personalised bottled water
If you are a touring/performing musician, answer me this…..when was the last time you had a bottle of water in your dressing room with your name printed on the label? I played thousands of gigs in all sorts of venues all over the world and the best I had was my name written on the door. Misspelled. Anyway, the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre in Naul does exactly that. Also they have a coffee machine, which makes it my most favourite venue in the world.
Here’s the link to the video from the gig. As I mentioned in the description, I couldn’t use much of the original footage as everyone around the camera was stomping their feet (which ruined the recording), so I had to ask if anyone managed to record something on their phones. Thankfully, the parents of one of my students did.
Thumbs up for Sofia Fox and Margaret Findley and for all Crows who were so good and supportive of my students.

Well, Oleg, I am very glad that you didn’t have a heart attack, and really, considering how brilliant your students are, there was no need for you to worry! They really are a credit to you. That was a fantastic gig, by the way, but then, I have yet to go to a No Crows gig that is anything less than fantastic. I’m no clairvoyant, but I know for a fact that it will never happen! It is true, though, that there is something very special about The Naul… and that’s aside from personalised bottles and coffee machines!
Thank you Veronique! We were very eager to play…. A lockdown is still in our hearts and minds. Every gig is a treasure.
But with ‘Crows’ it always is!
Absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to many more!!
