MOVING TO FRANCE? MOVING TO PATREON FIRST…

Hi everyone!

First of all I want to thank you for your support during those strange years, filled with unpredictability and confusion.

I published a little post on a Facebook recently, saying that I might consider moving to France, buying a house or two and…..well, I don’t really know what people do there, but I guess I’ll do the same. I got a lot of replies and quite a few phone calls and texts wishing me good luck.

Which shows you how far most of decent folk are removed from the reality.

Tell me, what chance there is of a modern day musician/teacher moving ……anywhere, really. With the current situation I can’t afford to move from one room to another. And to be honest, why would I? I live with the bunch of musicians who understand and accept my nocturnal bursts of creativity and my midnight kitchen hunting expeditions. There are more musicians living in our area than in Brugge and they sell ‘Adzhika’ in the shop around the corner. We have a pet mouse (I do, but it’s a secret), I can always borrow a mike from Nick and having a Turkish coffee in our garden is one of the most treasured moments in my life. So no, I am not moving. It was my attempt to write something humorous, if slightly sarcastic. I was just trying to tell everyone that I move to Patreon, where I’m planning to start annoying my readers with this ‘Gemini’ stuff and hopefully get paid enough so I’d be able to buy a house in the South of……..Jesus, here I go again.

Nope. I’m staying.
