GEMINI USER MANUAL
Welcome to the ‘World According to Gemini’.
If you’re the one – you came to the right place.
If you know one – you came to the right place.
If you’re in a relationship with one (God help you!) – you came to the right place.
If you’re trying to figure out how Gemini operate – you came to the right place – you might just get a glimpse of what’s going on inside our heads and hearts.
None of what is written here should be taken 100% seriously – that’s your first lesson in dealing with Gemini.
Actually, it’s very simple. There are two completely different characters inside every Gemini. They are constantly contradicting and fighting each other over absolutely everything. There are no victors in this eternal fight, but victims. Unfortunately it includes everyone around as well. In Gemini’s world, everything is dual and polarities have a tendency to flip every now and then. Rights and wrongs change places at random, good becomes bad, right becomes left and ‘up’ goes down in a moment. There’s never a middle ground, everything is extreme and therefore highly dramatic. One minute you are on top of the world, next minute you want to cease to exist, and it all happens without any reason or logic whatsoever.
Gemini fully understand the importance of emotions and intuition but try to rationalize everything. They absorb knowledge like a sponge but find it difficult to apply it practically. They can give you a great advice but will not follow yours. They study but don’t learn. They long for peace but create war. They run around in circles but what they really want is to put their feet up and not to see or hear anyone for a year or two. Very soon they’ll start feeling lonely and abandoned. Go figure…
Gemini usually have a great sense of humour, but are famous for saying wrong things at the wrong time. They are known for doing something wrong and then getting punished for something they didn’t do. Because of this, most Geminis spend their lives feeling victimized, and constantly drift from one guilt trip to another.
Gemini can start something new in a moment’s notice. They get bored with anything routine and find it very easy to change jobs, places and hobbies, but could not keep on for long enough to make a difference.
Here’s a good example. I’m 55 years old. I used to be a violinist, plumber, radio presenter, mechanic, welder, composer, tank driver, builder, interpreter, bike racer, sound engineer, software tester, producer, military policeman, road manager, teacher, carpenter and lecturer. I play violin, viola, bass, keyboards and guitar. None of which I learned well enough to turn the world around. I write stories but cannot push myself to learn English grammar. My head is full of melodies which could make me a famous composer and ideas which could make me a famous writer. I write them down but when I look at them later, they don’t make any sense whatsoever. I read hundreds of books but I don’t remember most of them. In other words, I’m a Gemini.
Now I’m trying to write a blog. Let’s see how long it’ll last.
The only advice I can give to someone who is stuck with Gemini is this…
Let them be. Accept them without conditions.
Geminis don’t perform well under stress and if you try to change any aspect of their life or character, the consequences will be catastrophic. For you, first of all.
Let them be, and you might have a chance of a meaningful interaction.
For a while.
Peace and Love!
Oleg
Weird how I had missed this… Must be because I charged horns first into the the first blog (I’m an Aries)!
This is a wonderful descriptive analysis of Gemini. I am nodding in agreement as I read and laugh, perhaps I will use this as my daily affirmation. Cheers Oleg
I’m not alone then🤔😊
Re ‘turning the world around’, Itzhak Perlman claims he isn’t responsible either – thinks maybe it was Jascha Heifetz 😉
Love it Oleg…
Great stuff Oleg. Looking forward to more stories.
Gemini user manual – very useful, all makes sense now ! Can’t agree on your fiddle playing comment though !
